Somers High School Drama Club is a high school based club that prides itself on providing a learning environment for young aspiring thespians and for those who just want to have fun after school. Each production chosen and performed by the club is always a test to see if they could grow in new ways.

This year, under the direction of Mrs. Marika Kraus as both musical and artistic director, the SHS Drama Club will put on Shrek the Musical in early March. This will be the second musical that the SHS Drama Club performs under the direction of Mrs. Marika Kraus. The upcoming musical will feature a pit band with students from the high school playing as well as adult performers. The stage crew for each production is completely made of students, as well as the Lights, Sound, and Video team. That's not to mention the impressive dances choreographed by Mrs. Erin Scholes and the strength of voices in the cast! Shrek the Musical will be a performance that will be hard to beat!
